Sometimes you just need a hug.  Shawls have been knit, crochet or woven over the ages to symbolize an unconditional loving God embracing, wrapping his arms around, comforting or hugging the person wearing it. The people who knit the shawls pray for the person who will receive it as they work it up.  Then, before it is put at the back of the church, Father blesses it. Anyone needing comfort or solace for whatever reason can receive a shawl.  The shawls are FREE.  A love offering can be made which goes to purchase more yarn to continue this ministry. 

We welcome anyone who would like to knit or crochet shawls.
